Can a brain scan reveal low self-esteem? Scientists identify the signals in our minds responsible for lack of confidence

A team of UCL researchers has devised a mathematical equation that can explain how our self-esteem is shaped by what other people think of us. Dr Geert-Jan Will (Max Planck UCL Centre for Computational Psychiatry & Ageing Research) comments on the connections between low self-esteem and mental health issues.  Read: Daily Mail
