Screen time guidelines need to be built on evidence, not hype

An open letter expresses concern that calls to reduce screen use among children are based on moral panic instead of evidence, while suggesting more empirical research is needed into the real impacts of digital technologies on child development. The signatories include 12 academics from UCL Brain Sciences, UCL Population Health and the UCL Institute of Education. Read: The Guardian
