A study led by Dr Francesca Solmi and Dr James Kirkbride (UCL Psychiatry) has found no link between cat ownership during pregnancy or childhood and the development of psychotic symptoms in adolescence, dispelling concerns about the impact of cat parasite Toxoplasma gondii.
