Heart tissue can be imaged in real-time during
keyhole procedures using a new optical ultrasound needle developed by a team led by Dr Adrien Desjardins, Dr Richard Colchester (both UCL Medical Physics & Biomedical Engineering) and Dr Malcolm Finlay (UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science and UCL Engineering).
