Modern art made from fifty million-year-old London clay

London clay, thought to be fifty million years old, has been turned into a piece of 21st century art. Bird Nest, created by east London sculptor Frank Harris (UCL Slade School of Fine Art), was made using material dug up during the building of the new Crossrail tunnels.
