Undergraduate Prospectus for 2025 entry is now available in print and online

19 March 2024

We are delighted that the Undergraduate Prospectus for 2025 entry is now available in print and online.

UCL undergraduate propsectuses fanned out on a table.

The Prospectus includes detailed information for more than 400 degree programmes and aims to attract the brightest undergraduate students from the UK and overseas to study at UCL, as well as establishing UCL as a genuinely innovative, exciting and world-leading university. It is also an important resource for parents and guardians, school influencers and UCL’s student recruitment teams. This year’s print edition features The Times and The Sunday Times University of the Year accolade badge on the cover and includes enhanced Accommodation and Careers sections, as well as examples of UCL’s real-world impact and student-generated imagery.

The online copy call process was completed in Portico for the third year, and we are very pleased that, at the point of launch, 77.3% of programmes were advertised fully with all marketing content, an improvement of 2.3% on last year. We appreciate the co-operation of the Faculty Communications and Marketing teams in achieving this, as well as the programme summary editors across UCL, who gathered, input and approved marketing content for the Prospectus. We are working with those faculty colleagues, as well as with the Admissions and Lifecycle teams, to get all remaining programmes advertised as soon as possible.

The improvements can be attributed to the Prospectus copy call continuous improvement led by Liz Carter and sponsored by Ali Parker, Director of Marketing in VPEE and Julie Smith, Director of Operations (AHS), as well as the hard work of both the VPEE Publications and Faculty MarComms teams. The Undergraduate Prospectus copy call continued to build on a series of quick win process enhancements that were introduced for last summer’s Graduate Prospectus copy call, including technical changes to the programme summary editor (with the help of the Current Students Product team) and a user experience review of training materials (undertaken by Digital Experience).

We are grateful to our colleagues in Academic Services (particularly Portico Governance and Student Lifecycle), Admissions, Digital Experience and Student Fees for their work and continued support in providing an improved user experience.

The Undergraduate Prospectus was published last month in readiness for the first UK University Search and UCAS fairs of the new recruitment cycle (Bristol, 28 February). Printed copies of the Prospectus are available at UCL-hosted events and those attended by UCL or our agents. If you have any queries or comments, please contact the VPEE Publications team.
