20 Bedford Way (IOE) to be closed all day on Sunday 24 March

The building will be closed all day on Sunday 24 March and will reopen at 7am on Monday 25 March. We will be testing the back-up power and emergency fire alarm systems as part of routine operational resilience preparation.

What do you need to do?

Testing involves a temporary loss of power to the building. Please ensure that by the end of Saturday 23 March you have turned off any equipment that could be disrupted by a power outage.

There will be no access to the building, including the IOE Library, except for staff involved with testing. Please ensure you have anything you need on Saturday before you leave the building.

Are there any alternative study spaces?

The Student Centre and Science Library are open 24/7. These are located on Malet Place and Gordon Street, about five minutes' walk from 20 Bedford Way. The Cruciform and Graduate Hubs are open from 1100-2100.
