Celebrating the Year of the Dragon in 2024

Celebrations take place from 10–24 February this year. UCL's President & Provost, Dr Michael Spence, wishes you all a happy and successful Year of the Dragon!

The festival, celebrated by over 2 billion people around the world, starts on the first new moon and ends on the first full moon of the lunar calendar year. This year will be the year of the Dragon, symbolising bravery, strength, success and luck. UCL President and Provost Dr Michael Spence wishes UCL's students, staff, alumni, partners and friends a happy and successful Year of the Dragon!
