Opinion: It's vital to control diseases such as polio–so why is the UK cutting global vaccine funds

Writing in The Guardian, Professor Helen Bedford (UCL GOS Institute of Child Health) argues it’s short sighted of the UK government to cut funding for global vaccination efforts as polio is resurging, monkeypox is spreading and Covid-19 persists.
