UCL Open Day

Full details are available in the papers of that meeting accessible via the Academic Board web page (UCL log-in required).

The constitution of the Working Group includes elected members in the following categories:

  • two members with expertise in antisemitism as a contemporary social and cultural problem
  • two members with expertise in race equality law
  • two members with expertise in academic freedom and free speech law and policy

Nomination is open to members of Academic Board but also to academic staff who are not members of the Board. Anyone interested in standing for election in one of the above categories should contact the Academic Board secretary, Nick McGhee, via academic.services@ucl.ac.uk by 5pm on Monday 29 March, confirming the category in which they wish to stand. Candidates will also need a proposer and seconder drawn from the membership of Academic Board, which is available here.

Ballots of the Academic Board membership will then be held where necessary. Candidates will be invited to produce a statement of no more than 200 words in support of their candidacy, and these will be circulated to Academic Board when the ballot opens.
