UCL COVID-19 testing centre to move from Bidborough House to Student Centre

28 July 2021

The Lateral Flow Testing (LFT) centre on the ground floor of Bidborough House will close on Friday 30 July – find out how to access Lateral Flow Testing if you do not have coronavirus symptoms.

Student Centre

The Lateral Flow Testing (LFT) centre on the ground floor of Bidborough House will close on Friday 30 July.

Anyone in England who does not have symptoms can get regular rapid lateral flow tests delivered to their home address or order tests to pick up from a local pharmacy. The Government advises that students and staff should continue to get tested twice a week, and to test before travelling.

UCL will provide a smaller LFT facility at the Student Centre from Monday 2 August. This will provide a bookable service for symptom-free staff and students who prefer to test on-site or who require assistance.

You can continue to book Lateral Flow Tests as normal using the online booking system. If you’ve booked an appointment for 2 August or later, you’ll have to go to the new Student Centre facility to take your test – details of the new facility will be shared this week on the Coronavirus webpages.

Once you receive your results, whether positive or negative, please report your results through NHS Test and Trace and Connect to Protect reporting tool.
