UniForum Service Effectiveness Survey 2020

5 November 2020

Please participate in the forthcoming Service Effectiveness Survey about some key professional services at UCL and help us identify where we can improve, writes Fiona Ryland, UCL's Chief Operating Officer.

Main quad portico

Around 14,000 UCL staff will shortly be invited to participate in the Service Effectiveness Survey. The aim is to seek your confidential feedback about some key professional services at UCL. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

The survey is part of the UniForum Programme, an international benchmarking exercise run by Cubane Consulting. They will compile our results and provide benchmarking against other universities in the programme. All your responses are confidential.

Several areas of professional services are included in the survey, and the results will help us understand what we are doing well and where we need to improve our services across the university. We also hope to understand how different areas have been performing over the past few months whilst delivering services in a different way than before.

We understand that staff have several demands on their time at the moment, so you’ll receive fewer reminders to complete the survey than in previous years.

Some of you will remember that we last ran this survey in November 2019 when more than 3,000 people submitted their feedback. Click here to see the results.

You will receive an email invitation with the title UniForum Service Effectiveness Survey on Monday 9 November, with a link to access the survey online. The survey will run for three weeks and will close at the end of the day on Tuesday 1 December.

If you have any questions, please contact the project team or visit the dedicated webpage.

Thank you in advance for helping us improve the university's professional services.

Fiona Ryland
Chief Operating Officer
