Earn a £10 voucher by joining a UCL student experience focus group
13 March 2020
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, these focus groups have been cancelled. Please look out for future opportunities to get involved and give your feedback to the UCL student lifecycle project.
Tell us what you think
UCL is always looking at ways to improve the student experience and is working with external partners to better understand the journey of UCL students on undergraduate and master’s programmes.
Our external partners will be running a series of focus groups to explore aspects of the student experience in more detail.
The team recently carried out student workshops and analysis of existing survey data. These focus groups will add to that research to build a more complete picture of life at UCL.
Your input will help us better understand what works well and where we might improve the UCL student experience.
These focus groups will last one and a half hours and participation is voluntary; you choose what, if any, information you feel comfortable to provide.
Understanding our students
There are lots of opportunities to get involved throughout March 2020.
Some focus groups will explore specific topics like students’ experiences of stress and accessing UCL support.
Other groups will explore the experiences of certain student groups, for example, BAME, women or LGBTQ+ students, students with a disability or long-term health condition and students who are the first in their family to attend university.
You are encouraged to sign up to one focus group, so that as many people as possible can be involved.
