Current EU students and students joining UCL in the next academic year (2020–21) will continue to be eligible for home fee status for the duration of their programme.

Professor Anthony Smith, Vice-Provost (Education and Student Affairs), said: ‘We currently have over 4,000 non-UK EU students enrolled at UCL. You make an enormous contribution to your programmes, the whole UCL community and to London and I want to reassure you that you will continue to eligible for home fee status not just for next year but for the duration of your programme. Looking ahead to 2021–22 when the new fee arrangements come into effect for new students, I very much hope that we will continue our long tradition of welcoming students from across Europe.’
