UCL Staff Singing Club

We really encourage colleagues to join us and give it a try. You don't need any previous experience of singing in a choir – just enthusiasm. There’s no audition – everyone is welcome – and you don’t need to be able to read music. We had around 70 members last term from all across UCL and we'd love to get 100 singing this term. Singing is a wonderful stress-release mechanism, and contributes to wellbeing at work, as well as just being lots of fun. Last term we sang a range of classic pop songs, as well as some folk, jazz and country songs.

We will be singing again this term, on Tueday lunchtimes at 1pm, and meeting weekly with a break for half-term/reading week. If you would like to register for the singing club this term, please do so by contacting Malika Barakat.

The deadline for signing up is Monday, 7 October 2019.

You should be able to commit to at least seven of the 10 sessions and we will be asking for a donation of £40 to the Student Hardship Fund to encourage commitment and attendance.
