Security at UCL and student ID

Following an incident in the Science Library earlier this week, where students were evacuated, you may notice some additional security around campus – please do not be concerned by this. 

These measures are designed to reassure you that your safety and security is always our number one priority, and is supported by our security procedures across campus. 

Your UCL ID card is needed to access the upper floors of the Student Centre. ID cards should be kept on your person while in the building in case you are asked to show them to staff. The ground floor and mezzanine areas are open to non-UCL students until 7pm each day.
