Earn money helping with the UCL Open Day

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for UCL students, ideally undergraduate students currently studying at UCL from all years and subject areas. No previous experience is required as we'll give you training and talk you through exactly what we would like you to do. You’ll be paid £10.70 per hour and can expect to work around seven hours. Lunch is provided, and we’ll also pay you for the briefing session you have to attend the week before if you haven’t already worked for us at the June 2019 Open Days.

The role

Your main duties would include helping visitors with questions and directions, chatting with guests on the day and following general instructions from UCL staff. You may also be needed to manage queues into and out of Lecture Theatres and scanning visitors' tickets when they arrive at their talks.

When is it?

You would be helping out at the Undergraduate Open Day on 7 September. If you haven’t already worked for us at the June 2019 Open Days, you would be required to attend one of the following paid training sessions:

  • 28 August, 2–3pm
  • 29 August, 2–3pm
  • 1 September 2–3pm

Where is it?

You would be helping out at UCL's main campus in Bloomsbury.
