Listen to social scientists to improve people's health
4 April 2017
Prof Susan Michie from UCL Centre for Behaviour Change is featured in today's Times Higher Education, discussing a new report which calls for a radical upgrade in the use of social science in order to tackle poor public health.

She suggests that there is an urgent need to put in place policies that reduce healthcare need and make much better use of the resources available in order to support our National Health Service which she describes as being at breaking point.
Instead, she believes we need to bring about large-scale behaviour change in the poulation, by doing better to promote health and
reduce health inequalities.
