The

Attendees of the 2016 UCL Summer School ucl.ac.uk/summerschool/">UCL Summer School enjoyed a successful inaugural year in 2016 as students representing 23 countries and 65 universities around the world enrolled on credit-bearing modules on our Bloomsbury campus in July and August.

97% of enrolled students said they would recommend the programme to a friend and 88% expressed an interest in returning to UCL for further study. The vast majority (97%) of those who expressed interest in further study indicated that the Summer School had made this option more attractive than before.

Based in the UCL Centre for Languages & International Education, the UCL Summer School offers the opportunity to study for three or six weeks with a choice of over 50 modules in different subject areas. Teaching dates for 2017 are Monday, 3 July to Friday, 21 July and Monday, 24 July to Friday, 11 August. Academic staff interested in contributing to the 2018 Summer School should contact the Head of the UCL Summer School, Rhod Fiorini, who will be able to provide details on the benefits of doing so upon request.

Staff are encouraged to spread the word about the UCL Summer School to any contacts at other universities who may be interested in promoting the programme to their students. The Liaison & Recruitment contact for the Summer School is Rory Herron, who is based in Student Recruitment Marketing.

You can find out what students on the 2016 programme had to say about their experience by watching the new UCL Summer School promotional video here.
