Find out more about the UCL Financial Assistance Fund

18 March 2016

The UCL Financial Assistance Fund (FAF) is available to all UCL students, regardless of year or level of study (undergraduates, Master's or research students), who find themselves facing unforeseen financial difficulties after commencing their studies.

Quad summer

This fund provides grants of up to £1,000, depending on circumstances, and is there to help with maintenance costs only (you do not have to repay any award received). Unfortunately, we are unable to provide financial assistance towards outstanding tuition fees.

If you are experiencing unexpected financial issues, you can apply for an assessment by completing the FAF application form (via the FAF web page) and emailing it to us: studentfunding@ucl.ac.uk.

If you need advice about completing your application or how to manage your money, contact the Student Funding Welfare team: studentfundingwelfare@ucl.ac.uk.
