National Sleep Awareness Week at UCL

25 February 2016

As part of our

Portico night ucl.ac.uk/current-students/support/welfare-events/workshops" target="_self">National Sleep Awareness Week activities, UCL Student Support and Wellbeing is delighted to welcome back Dr Guy Meadows from the Sleep School. Dr Meadows will be repeating his sell-out lecture 'Sleep to perform', first given last year.

The lunch hour session will take place from 1:30-2:30pm on Wednesday 2 March 2016. Covering topics such as 'essential tools to calm a racing mind, manage anxious feelings and thoughts' and 'how to sleep the night before important events and exams', this lecture was very well received by students and staff. Places are free and you can book in advance.

We are also delighted to announce that UCL Student Psychological Services is offering free places for two seminars on Thursday 3 March: 'Mindfulness meditation' and 'Overcoming insomnia'. For further details on the sessions and to reserve your place, visit the UCL Welfare events website.
