Parents and Carers Together (PACT) Network event: Caring for ageing parents (a personal perspective) - Professor Anthony Finkelstein

Often in the workplace, caring for elderly parents, is little spoken of and can lead to people feeling overwhelmed and lonely.

Professor Anthony Finkelstein, Dean of the UCL Faculty of Engineering Sciences, will talk about what it is like to care for ageing parents and how widespread the challenges can be when balancing this role with work.

This event is an opportunity to come together with others from UCL who may also have care responsibilities outside the workplace, helping to establish a network of contacts at UCL which can provide mutual support when needed. It will last about an hour and there will be an opportunity for Q&A and networking after. Light refreshments will be provided but feel free to bring your lunch.
