Got an idea worth sharing? Your chance to talk at TEDxUCL 2015

UCL will host its own TEDx conference this December, and organisers are keen to recruit UCL students to speak at the event TedxUCL is taking place on 19 December in UCL IOE's Logan Hall, with a 1000-strong audience already registered to attend.

Got an idea worth sharing? Your chance to talk at TEDxUCL 2015

TEDx is an independently organized version of the well-known TED Talks events, the TEDxUCL event will focus on the theme of growth. TEDxUCL 2015 will take attendees on a journey through the different ways in which we, and the world around us, can grow.

Speakers will examine the following 4 categories of growth:

  • Personal
  • Societal
  • Technological
  • Global and environmental

Safa Amirbayat, Head of Speaker acquisition, TEDxUCL said, "I want TEDxUCL this year to give a true representation of the academic brilliance that goes on every day at UCL, this is a great opportunity for students to showcase their work. Students who are interested in taking part can complete a speaker application form.

"All talks will be uploaded on the TEDx YouTube channel and if the talks are outstanding they will be put on the official TED website to be viewed by hundreds of thousands online."
