Chinese scholarships now open for applications

Fully funded scholarships to Zhejiang University and Peking University's Yenching Academy are now open for applications from outstanding UCL students.

Chinese scholarships now open for applications  

Scholarships are available for the Modern Chinese Studies Masters-degree programme, taught and examined in English,

Zhejiang University has up to five scholarships for UCL applicants, while Peking University's Yenching Academy has two scholarships available.

Applications for the scholarships are open to:

  • Outstanding undergraduates completing their UCL studies in 2015 who have a sincere desire to pursue an interest in contemporary China.  
  • Currently enrolled doctorial students with an outstanding record who, with the permission of their research director might reasonably wish to incorporate the programme into field-work in China.

Applicants must also meet the Zhejiang University and Peking University entrance requirements. It is envisaged successful applicants will be able to complete these programmes in one year.
