Presentation proposals wanted for e-learning series on technology and active learning

3 September 2014

The third series of Summits and Horizons: new e-learning at UCL will begin on October 13.

UCL Centre for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CALT) and E-learning Environments (ELE) would love to hear from anyone in UCL who would like to present on any topic related to the series theme.

The theme for this year's series is: Using technology to engage students in active learning and is aligned with the Provost's emphasis on research-based learning. We'd really like to hear from anyone who has ideas or experiences to share about how e-learning can help students to develop a more research-orientated relationship to knowledge and learning.

Presentations can be between 10 and 30 minutes.

If you have a proposal or want to talk through an idea please contact Nick Grindle (n.grindle@ucl.ac.uk), and copy in Clive Young (c.p.l.young@ucl.ac.uk).

An outline of last year's Summits and Horizons sessions can be found here: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/arena/events/summits.
