Learning in a changing world: a unique opportunity to reflect on learning in the 21st century

21 October 2014

Every two years the Institute of Education (IOE) stages an international conference with its flagship partner Beijing Normal University.

IOE The series began in 2006, and by the 2012 edition it had attracted participation from more than 40 countries.

The next conference will be held at the IOE on 21 and 22 November. Learning in a Changing World http://www.ioe.ac.uk/newsEvents/86864.html will cover seven areas of contemporary concern in education:

  •      Learning and inclusion
  •      Learning across the life course
  •      Learning and the teacher
  •      Learning and child development
  •      Learning and creativity
  •      Changing modes of learning
  •      Policy and learning

Keynote speakers from China, Australia and UK include the IOE's colleagues Professor Stephen Ball and Professor Ann Phoenix. 120 parallel sessions will be offered by contributors from around the world.

We encourage UCL staff and students to attend what promises to be an extraordinarily rich and rewarding couple of days.

Discounted rates are available: UCL staff and students can benefit from the same rates as IOE staff and students.

You can register online http://www.ioe.ac.uk/newsEvents/92104.html. When registering, select 'IOE staff' or 'IOE student' and provide your UCL email address.
