UCL Parents and Carers Together Network
10 April 2014
UCL Equalities and Diversity is pleased to launch a new network for carers and parents across UCL, the PACT (Parents and Carers Together) Network.
This is a social network that meets on a monthly basis and
aims to support UCL staff members who are balancing new or ongoing caring
responsibilities with work. PACT seeks to raise awareness of UCL policies that
support parents and carers and open up discussion about the issues facing
parents and carers working in universities.
The launch is on Wednesday, 7 May 2014 at 12:30 pm, at 16 Taviton Street (SSEES building) Room 431. Professor Clare Elwell, Ph.D. (UCL Medical Physics & Bioengineering) will formally launch the PACT Network and talk about her own parenting experience.
If you are interested in attending, would like to join UCL PACT virtually on Moodle - to share your experience or to exchange tips and ideas - or join the PACT mailing list contact equalities@ucl.ac.uk for further information.
