New UCL International Office website
12 September 2013
The new International Office website features a more user-friendly design created in response to user testing and consultation with students.
In recent years increased interest in UCL from international
students has seen the number of visits to the International Office website rise
from an average of 20,000 per month in 2009 to an average of 43,000 per
month in 2013. Yet throughout this period there have been few changes to the
website to reflect the changing demands of prospective international students.
An interactive world map links to improved country pages, which now provide more specific information on funding, entry requirements, contacts, and overseas visits. Pages also carry the International Office Twitter feed and links for prospective students to register their interest in UCL.
The URL www.ucl.ac.uk/international
will remain in use but will now re-direct to the new version of the
site. The International Office pages previously began with www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/international-students/, but will now begin with www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/international/.
All UCL web administrators are requested to update any links that they might have pointing to the old version of the website. The old version will be inaccessible after Monday 23 September.
