Help UCL Collections portrait to make the 'Art Everywhere' shortlist

A fantastic painting from the UCL Art Museum collection, Portrait of a Young Woman by the early 20th century artist Winifred Knights, has been long-listed for

Portrait of a Young Woman, Winifred Knights, Oil on canvas, 1920 org.uk/" target="_blank">Art Everywhere, the Art Fund's initiative to create the largest exhibition of its kind in the world.

For two weeks in August some of the nation's greatest art will be on display across tens of thousands of billboards up and down the country.

You can help Winifred Knights make the shortlist: simply 'Like' Portrait of a Young Woman on Facebook for it to be shortlisted as one of the 50 works to be displayed on a billboard this summer.

This autumn, you can see the painting as part of our next exhibition 'Drawing Over the Colour Line' co-curated in collaboration with UCL's Equiano Centre.

The exhibition will focus on the lives of Black and Asian men and women who worked as artists and models in London between the 1920s and the 1940s, revealing the role they played in the changing artistic, social, cultural and political scenes of the city.
