New wireless service for UCL visitors and conferences
9 February 2012
The UCLGuest Wireless Service enables Room Bookings, Departmental Administrators, IT Managers, Departmental Computer Representatives and other designated Wireless Guest Sponsors (such as conference receptionists and administrators) to create visitor accounts, giving visitors temporary access to the Internet through the UCL wifi network.
This is extensively available throughout UCL over the existing wireless infrastructure (so you can access it wherever eduroam is available). It replaces the VisiNet service which will be withdrawn from 5th March.
Sponsors can create 'event codes' suitable for 10+ conference participants or create individual userids & passwords. Find out more at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/isd/common/wireless/uclguest
