Teaching and Learning newsletter launching in May

The Teaching and Learning Portal is a resource offering ideas, information and news for anyone who wants to know more about teaching and learning at UCL.

A dedicated newsletter is being launched in May and anyone subscribing before 30 April enters a draw to win an iPad.

The portal provides an opportunity for staff to interact with colleagues they might never otherwise have encountered in a password-protected virtual staffroom. It contains everything from strategy documents and how-to videos to e-learning guidance and case studies.

Ele Cooper, Teaching and Learning Portal Editor, explained: "The aim is for the Portal to become the first port of call for anyone seeking information or advice on teaching and learning at UCL. The News and Features section showcases examples of innovative teaching taking place across the university, hopefully encouraging people to draw inspiration from their colleagues' work and build ideas from case studies into their own teaching, creating a sense of community and shared best practice."
