2 April 2012

UCL students and staff are being asked to submit a one minute video, which will be displayed as part of an exhibition at the UCL Slade School of Fine Art and entered into an international competition.

Film making

UCL will be presenting a multi screen installation with the title: theoneminutes sport 'like/dislike' London 2012. The exhibition will coincide with the London Olympics.

Michael Duffy (UCL Slade) explained: "This is an excellent opportunity for participants to be involved in a high visibility exhibition which will be touring and is also a great opportunity for UCL to once again demonstrate our high regard for public engagement. It's also an opportunity for us to add an additional element to what promises to be an outstanding summer in London in 2012."

The competition is being run by a short film organization called theoneminutes in collaboration with the Slade School of Fine Art. The Slade is collecting UCL's contributions to the competition and hosting an exhibition to showcase them.

The deadline is 31 May and videos can be submitted to Michael Duffy using the UCL dropbox. Submissions should be 60 seconds in duration including titles and credits.
