Royal Irish Academy

In two examples of the international recognition of Institute staff and research, the IoN is delighted to congratulate Professor Ray Dolan (Head of the Wellcome Department of Imaging Neuroscience and Director of the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging)  on being elected to the Royal Irish Academy.

Further afield and strengthening links with Brazil; a partnership agreement was signed last week between  the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidade Federal Minas Gerais, and the Institute's Reta Lila Weston Institute of Neurological Studies.

One of the first proposals is to promote the exchange of faculty and graduate students between the two institutions.
