Professor Spyer became the university's first Vice-Provost (Enterprise) in 2006, having held the post of Vice-Provost (Biomedicine) for the previous four years.

Stephen Caddick joined UCL in 2003 as Vernon Professor of Organic Chemistry and Chemical Biology.

Professor Caddick is the founding director of the Centre for Chemical Biology, head of the Organic and Chemical Biology group and, most recently, Head of UCL Chemistry.

He has served on a number of high-profile funding panels and is playing a key role in developing UCL's unique contribution to the UK Centre for Medical Research and Innovation.

In this podcast Professor Caddick explains why enterprise is so important to the university's future and how he hopes to build on his predecessor's work.
