Opportunities for research with European collaborations
30 October 2009
An event will be held on 11 November to highlight the extent of UCL's current engagement with Europe through the European FP6 and FP7 programmes, and to provide information about the support available at UCL for anyone considering bidding for these research funds.
Information will also be presented on funding opportunities through the Erasmus programme, which allow the movement of research students between different European universities for periods of between three months and one year.
The (more modest) opportunities available for funded academic staff mobility through Erasmus will also be covered.
Professor Mike Wilson (Pro-Provost for Europe) will talk about UCL's FP6 and FP7 engagement.
Mark Pickerill (International Office) will outline funding opportunities for research student and academic staff mobility through the Erasmus programme.
Date: 11 November
Venue: Roberts Building 106
Time: 2pm
