The Autumn 2009 issue of UCL's academic review Opticon1826 has been published.

As in previous issues, the articles address subject matter that ranges from Bloomsbury to fairies. The research notes and commentaries examine environmental policy, Egyptian sculpture, and drug use, among other areas.

Printed pamphlets featuring extracts from last issue's submissions can be found in the Main Library and the Science Library.

Submissions for the Spring 2010 issue, out on 30 April, are now welcome. Contributions can be in the form of an article, a review/commentary, letter to the editor, or creative work.

The deadline is the end of the day on Friday 5 March 2010. For more information, please contact the editor-in-chief.
