Modern foreign language summer courses - free for UCL students graduating in 2009

11 June 2009

The UCL Language Centre is running intensive two-week language courses in July 2009 in: Arabic French German Italian Japanese Mandarin and Spanish.

These intensive language courses are designed to give participants the opportunity to develop their foreign language and culture skills in a professional context.

The courses are funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England's Economic Challenge Investment Fund (ECIF) and are therefore free for UCL students graduating in 2009 (and other UCL students, subject to availability). There is a £50 fee for professional participants.

Each course involves 35 hours of tuition over ten days.

All courses will be held Monday 6 - Friday 17 July. Beginners' courses will run 9am - 1pm (with a 30-minute break) and intermediate-level courses will run 1-5pm (with a 30-minute break).
