Professor Robert Lowe talks about the launch of the UCL Energy Institute - UCL's response to the critical challenges of mitigating climate change and providing energy security in the 21st century.

The institute will coordinate and stimulate ambitious research projects and play a leading role in advising government and industry.

Here Professor Lowe, the institute's Deputy Director, talks about how it can call on UCL's breadth of expertise to draw up a blueprint for a low-carbon world.
