UCL will hold a one-day colloquium on 'Shaping the curriculum for a global university' on 23 June 2009. The colloquium will bring together colleagues from across the UCL community to explore how departments are developing curricula that are international in scope and which embody UCL's global citizenship principles.

The programme will include presentations from UCL staff on various approaches to the internationalised curriculum, opportunities for discussion and debate and a poster exhibition.

Internationalisation of the curriculum is an important strategic objective for UCL, and a key element of the Global Citizenship agenda. The term refers to the process by which UCL is developing its practice to ensure that students develop the attributes, skills and knowledge that will equip them for the demands of the twenty-first century.

For details on how to submit an abstract for a presentation and other information, follow the links at the top of the page (UCL staff login necessary).
