Sir David King's lecture rescheduled

Sir David King's lecture, which was to have taken place on Monday, 17 November, has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, 25 November, 4.30-6.30 pm.

Sir David King, Director of the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, former chief scientific adviser to the government and former head of the Government Office of Science, is going to present his lecture as part of the UCL Environment Institute's Public Lecture series. Two further events related to the environment and UCL are taking place next week. On 26 November, the government launches its Foresight report on Sustainable Energy Management and the Built Environment, with the UCL Environment Institute involved with the Lead Expert Group; and on 27 November, Prof. Mark Maslin from UCL Geography launches the 2nd edition of his 2004 book 'Global Warming: A Very Short Introduction', published by Oxford University Press in its 'Very Short Introductions' series (see the OUP pages for details).
