Medical-image computing open day

The UCL Centre for Medical-Image Computing (CMIC) is holding an open day from 3pm on 19 June 2008 in the Roberts Building.

UCL CMIC will presenting its latest results using imaging technologies to derive and apply biomedical and clinical information in biomedical research and translation to healthcare.

The open day includes registration and refreshments (3pm), a poster session and demonstrations (3.15pm), a keynote talk by Professor Nicholas Ayache (5pm) and a wine and canape reception (6pm).

UCL CMIC is a world-class grouping combining excellence in medical imaging sciences with innovative computational methodology. Our research finds application in biomedical research and in healthcare. The research of the group focuses on detailed structural and functional analysis in neurosciences, imaging to guide interventions, image analysis in drug discovery, imaging in cardiology and imaging in oncology with a strong emphasis on e-science technologies.
