Guide for UCL departments

The UCL Bloomsbury theatre is offering time in its schedule to UCL staff and students for productions or presentations.

Every year, the theatre - which is wholly owned by UCL - allocates time to UCL departments and student societies. During this time most usage of the theatre is free, including use of the 531-seat theatre, and technical, front-of-house and box-office staff and facilities.

Currently, the times available are weeks commencing 3 November 2008, 2 February 2009 and 9 February 2009. Alternative dates are also available for conferences and presentations.

Peter Cadley, General Manager of the UCL Bloomsbury, said: "Bids should consider the presentation or show itself, its value to UCL and the wider community, involvement by staff and students and preferred dates. All bids should be endorsed by the bidder's head of department.  The bidding process for next academic year will close on 25 April 2008."
