Festive Open Event at UCLH

UCL Hospitals is holding a festive open event at University College Hospital (UCH) on Thursday 6 December, to which UCL students and staff are warmly invited.

The event is aimed at a wide range of stakeholders, including GPs and other health professionals, members of local primary care trusts, local residents, schoolchildren and patients.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet frontline staff and view around 30 interactive display stands highlighting the innovative work of departments within UCH, as well as the six other specialist hospitals in the trust. 

There will also be the opportunity for them to join a tour of departments, including the UCL/UCLH Institute of Nuclear Medicine, the Day Surgery Unit, Imaging, Radiotherapy and Accident and Emergency.

There will be carol singing, a school gospel choir and other entertainment, and the Christmas tree lights will be switched on at around 4.30pm.
