Spring Volunteering Fair

The UCL Union Spring Volunteering Fair will take place on Tuesday 30 January 2007.

The event, which will be held in the North Cloisters from 12-3pm, is an excellent opportunity for students to meet project coordinators from over 30 different organisations and shop around for a project which best suits them.

John Braime, UCL's Voluntary Services Coordinator, said: "With information
on 35 different community projects, there will be loads of different volunteering ideas for students to find out about. Examples include working with children, elderly people, homeless projects, people with disabilities and sports, as well as fundraising and event organising."

UCL puts volunteers in touch with organisations in areas as diverse as
international development, conservation, health and children's charities.
