New member of the British Library Research Board

Professor David Nicholas, Director of the UCL School of Library, Archive, and Information Studies, has been invited to join the British Library Research Board.


In this role, he will advise the British Library on research policies and priorities, overseeing the quality and quantity of research projects. He will also be charged with establishing and overseeing a Research Ethics Sub-Committee.

Professor Nicholas is one of only three external academic members of the Board, whose remit includes encouraging and sustaining an active, collaborative research culture amongst staff and with external researchers.
