Prize draw for the national student survey 2007

14 February 2007

The National Student Survey has launched a prize draw to encourage final-year undergraduates to complete this year's poll over the next few weeks.

All students completing the survey online before Friday 16 March 2007 will be entered into a competition with the following prizes:

  • *1st prize = £250
    *2nd prize = £100
    *3rd prize = three prizes of £50

All students who have already completed the survey online will be automatically entered into the draw.

The NSS is an opportunity to give feedback on all aspects of university life including course teaching, assessment and feedback, academic support, organisation and management, learning resources and personal development.

Results of the survey will be available to prospective students, and UCL is committed to acting on student comments.

Students who do not complete the survey will be sent a postal questionnaire to their term time address and may also be contacted by telephone. Students not wishing to participate in the survey should visit the NSS website using the above link, in order to opt out and ensure that there is no further contact from NSS researchers.

Professor Michael Worton, Vice Provost (Academic & International), and UCL Union have issued a joint statement in support of the survey, the results of which will enable future students to make informed choices about their own higher education.

To complete or opt out of the survey, or to read the UCL and UCL Union joint statement on the survey, follow the links at the top of this item.
