Identity Cards debate: new speaker

6 November 2006

The UCL Union Debating Society debate  'This House Supports the Introduction of Identity Cards' is going ahead on Monday 13 November.


Both Guy Herbert, General Secretary of NO2ID (replacing Hilary Benn MP) and Liberal Democrat Shadow Home Affairs Nick Clegg MP will argue in opposition to the motion. The debate will be held at 7.15pm in the Old Refectory in the Wilkins Building, and is expected to finish by 9.30pm. Refreshments will be available.

Entry is free to all and no booking is necessary.
