Systems biology workshop at UCL CoMPLEX

13 December 2006

The UCL Centre for Mathematics & Physics in the Life Sciences & Experimental Biology (CoMPLEX) is hosting a systems biology workshop on 18 December 2006.

'Systems Biology 2006 - The Challenge of Crossing Scales' aims to provide an overview of current systems biology activity at UCL, and provide insight and discussion on the future direction of systems biology at the university and in the field as a whole.

Interdisciplinary collaboration between the life sciences and the mathematical, engineering and computational sciences is key to the development and success of systems biology projects and the ultimate clinical translation of the research. This workshop aims to inform and foster interest in the UCL community and beyond by illustrating the key contributions from both experimentalists and modellers to create some of the pioneering work UCL has already achieved in this emerging field.

The event is being held in UCL's Chemistry Lecture Theatre, Chirstopher Ingold Building, Gordon Street, WC1E, 10am-5.30pm, followed by a wine reception. If you are interested in being involved in these exciting developments, then come to the workshop and air your views.
