Graduation ceremonies
21 August 2006
Congratulations to this year's graduands, whose graduation ceremonies will take place at Logan Hall in the Institute of Education, Bedford Way, from Tuesday 29 August until Thursday 7 September.
Three ceremonies will be held daily, at 11am, 3pm and 7pm. Nineteen ceremonies will be held in all, and 4067 degrees awarded.
Graduands and ticket-holding guests are invited to a champagne canapé reception after the ceremony, held in the North and South Cloisters and the Jeremy Bentham Room. The New London Orchestra will be playing in the bandstand in the front quad.
For the new graduates, a range of new services will become available, enabling them to keep in touch with the university through alumni societies for sport, music, drama and other special interest groups. UCL Alumni Relations will be present at the ceremonies to distribute information and a goody bag to new graduates.
Honorary degrees will be awarded at the 3pm graduation ceremony on 4 September. A dinner will follow at 8pm.
