Dr Stephen Marshall (PhD, Bartlett 2001) and Dr Nick Green (MPhil Bartlett, 1995, PhD, Bartlett 2001) have just published a new book aimed at helping students to successfully complete their PhD.

Your PhD Companion adopts an informal approach and aims to provide supportive advice to PhD students on topics such as liaising with supervisors, structuring a thesis and academic etiquette.

Nick Green said: "We wrote the book from a PhD student's point of view and intended it to offer the advice of an equal, someone who's been down the same path before them. We wanted to write a book that people would enjoy reading, rather than another book they felt they ought to read."
